Flo and rida

Well, Florida...I guess, all the people who are really sad that they couldn't go should stop reading right here. All the other people may continue.Let's have a little overview:The flight was cool, I love flying! It was Irene's first flight, and so she was sitting with me and Anna, and she was really nervous ... i mean ...excited!!!The first thing I saw in Florida was then a Ben and Jerry's - awesome! Still in New England or what???But ice cream was also really necessary, because it was like 85 Fahrenheit, or for intelligent human beings: ~28 Celsius. That was kind of a change from frosty New Hampshire. But a pleasant one. Then - Disney World.I was so disgusted. The hotels had, for example, huge coke cups or footballs on the side.Go America!Watching football games in front of our 5000$ plasma screen and drinking soda - that's us!Oh, and here we are in Disney World, the peek of our accomplishments. And what are we doing?Spending money, eating bad food, drinking soda, wasting resources. But we are capitalists, we can do it!Alright, enough of that.Good stuff: Cool ideas realized in the park, a lot of detail, good atmosphere, hanging out with people was fun, my first arcade ever, bling/k, good weather, awesome performance, Miss Rapp, ...Bad Stuff: bad food, expensive, everything was just show, some peopleWhat I just wanted to say now (No offense, please):My room mates were absolutely cool, however there is a little "but":Having a room with just two big beds and 4 people, we were supposed to share beds.Pat, however, was not willing to share his bed with anybody. That was okay, because the first night he and Noah talked about it and they say they would switch every night how would sleep in the bed vs. on the floor.Second night: Pat decided that he is a senior and therefore had the right to have a bed on his own and one of the freshmen (Noah or Peter) could sleep on the floor, and the other one could share his bed with the German.Pat, I really thought of you as less selfish then that! That was really not okay, and your argument of "seniority" was rather riddiculous!I mean, come on!You obviously didn't want to sleep on the floor either, so why not share a bed? They were queen-size beds, so what was the problem?"Equal rights" ?The land of the free...Sorry Pat!I guess everybody is giving you a hard time recently.Overall, I liked Florida and Disney, and I think it was a good experience.School's started.Awesome...Wer zuletzt lacht hat den Witz als letztes verstanden.MandaMan

I just hate sharing beds. I grew up with two brothers and almost always had to. Also, when I was an underclassman, I had to sleep on the floor too. I paid my dues. Besides, Peter said he preferred the floor. More power to him.It wasn't nice, but they'll get their redemption in a couple years. Besides, I'm just so darn cool ;P

I still think "I already paid my dues" is not a very well funded argument. And do you really think Peter preferred the floor to sleeping in a bed? That makes me wonder why he doesn't always sleep on the floor at home, too, if he likes it that much. I rather think he was just being nice. But whatever, I can see your point, and even though I don't agree, I respect your opinion.I just felt like I had to express that I was quite upset about that and also thought that you were being a little bit of a jerk - just some "constructive criticism" here...

hmmm... never thought I'd see band hazing... I think we're stepped on the road to damnation, next we'll have enforced binging and streaking freshmen at the football games :)
